Adeka Ultra Seal waterstops were developed in the early 1970's by the innovative Adeka Corporation. Adeka engineers had the idea to combine the elastic properties of natural rubber with the water swelling properties of a urethane polymer. Through creative thinking and creative manufacturing, Adeka Ultra Seal was born.
Since 1976 Adeka has improved and developed new products to stop water with the dual action of rubber compression and hydrophilic expansion. The concept of compression and water induced expansion opened up a new generation of waterstops.
MC-2010MN
Pre-formed rubber strip with stainless steel mesh. Size, 20mm X 10mm, (Approximately 3/4" X 3/8"). Used to replace conventional PVC waterstops in construction joints and control joints. Packaged in 82 feet per case.
MC-2005M
Pre-formed rubber strip with stainless steel mesh. Size, 20mm X 5mm, (Approximately 3/4" X 3/16"). Used to replace conventional PVC waterstops in construction joints and control joints. Packaged in 330 feet per case.
MC-2005T
Pre-formed rubber strip with adhesive back. Size, 20mm X 5mm, (Approximately 3/4" X 1/4"). Typically used in piping penetrations, H-pile waterstops, and pre-cast applications. Packaged in 330 feet per case.
P-201
Paste type in 11 oz. cartridges. Used in many different applications such as piping penetrations, sheetpile interlocks, rough surfaces, crack repair, etc. One of the most versatile Adeka products.
P-101
Paste type in 11 oz. cartridges. Similar to P-201 but has only 15% expansion. Used in many different applications that do not require the full expansion of P-201. Good for shallow joints, areas where less coverage is available, etc.
KM-3030M
Pre-formed rubber strip . Size, 30mm X 30mm, (Approximately 1.2" X 1.2"). Used in expansion joints. Stainless steel wire mesh to control and focus expansion. Three times expansion by volume.
KBA-1510 FP
Pre-formed rubber strip . Size, 15mm X 10mm. Used in areas where concrete coverage in minimal. See data sheet for conditions of use.
KM String
Pre-formed string. Size, 4mm ~ 40mm, (Approximately 0.2" ~ 1.6"). Used to waterproof sheetpiles, cracks where running water is present. String size should be 1.2 times the width of the gap. Packaged according to size of string.
